What are the responsibilities and job description for the Social Worker position at Youth Advocate Programs, Inc.?
Status: Full Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-Exempt
Summary of the Position: The Dauphin County Community Treatment Center Social Worker is to provide a range of appropriate services in the homes of the participants that will help families remain together.
- Will perform social service functions to assist participants in meeting their psychological needs; including psychosocial and diagnostic assessment and consultation, crisis intervention, individual, family and group therapy, case management, information and referral, and other social work services as needed.
Hours for this position are 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Qualifications/Requirements: Master’s degree in human services or relevant field; preferred with commensurate experience in community-based agency programs.
- Demonstrated communication skills, both oral and written.
Position requires valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance coverage
