Job Title: Youth Advocate
We are seeking a dependable and committed Part-Time Hourly advocate to serve youth and families throughout St. Lawrence County.
About the Role:
- Initiate, organize, plan, develop, and implement direct advocacy services to assigned participants and their families.
- Utilize a strength-based approach using the wrap-around model for all service plans.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a positive role model for youth in community, school, and home settings.
- Provide flexible hours with competitive weekly pay and activity reimbursement.
- Work evenings and weekends as required.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Experience in community work and knowledge of community resources.
- Experience working with youth and children.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current automobile insurance coverage.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingual/Spanish speaking skills.
