What are the responsibilities and job description for the SITE SUPERVISOR position at Youth Advocate Programs?
Status : Full Time Salaried FLSA Classification : Exempt
Summary of Position : Site Supervisor is responsible for the administration and implementation of services under the New Jersey Community-Based Violence Intervention Grant. Community-Based Violence Intervention (CBVI) is a non-law enforcement approach to advancing public safety for all community members. The Site Supervisor will be responsible for implementing the CBVI strategy in key areas in the township of Irvington, New Jersey.
- The Site Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the street team and support staff which includes Violence Interrupters and Outreach Workers, a trauma informed Clinician and Administrative Support.
- Candidate must have lived, worked, or have significant knowledge of the target communities and local resources. Flexible schedule and commitment to engaging in a strategic, trauma informed approach to engaging community members at the highest risk of violence.
Qualifications / Requirements : High School Diploma or GED Equivalent plus four years of experience in youth development, violence prevention, and case management.
