Your Role
The VP of Information Technology is responsible for the overall leadership and administrative directions for the Information Technology Department to ensure a world class technology experience for clients and employees.

Education & Experience
Master’s Degree (preferred) in a computer major (computer science, information systems, computer / software engineering, etc.) or related field from an approved and accredited college or university and eight (8) years’ experience in a Senior Leadership role, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a computer major (computer science, information systems, computer / software engineering, etc.) or related field from an approved and accredited college or university and ten (10) years’ experience in a Senior Leadership role.

Your Role
The VP of Information Technology is responsible for the overall leadership and administrative directions for the Information Technology Department to ensure a world class technology experience for clients and employees.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for the strategic planning of the IT Department, including the forecasting future business needs and providing direction as the enterprise grows. Is responsible for all Information Technology contracts from negotiation to contract fulfillment, which includes requests for proposal, bids, and negotiations.
- Defines the scope of projects in collaboration with senior management, including the objectives and measures upon which each will be evaluated.
- Conducts project feasibility studies, reviews work plans/timetables and determines resource needs.
- Provides direction to management staff throughout the project life cycle, which includes initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing IT projects. This includes all activities, functions, and operations of the Information Technology Department involved in the project management process.
- Ensures that all goals and objectives specified for the Information Technology Department are successfully accomplished to the highest service level possible and in accordance with the established priorities, timelines, assigned budget, and deliverables.
- Oversees the implementation of network systems and platforms, including but not limited to Electronic Health Records (EHRs), Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Customer Relationship Management Systems (CRMs), Accounting Systems.
- Oversees the assessment and implementation of system automation and Artificial Intelligence to improve work processes while ensuring adherence to security standards.
- Ensures the successful recruitment, orientation, and training of department members for the various required duties, responsibilities, and assignments within the department. Monitors staffing ratios to ensure the department is adequately and appropriately staffed.
- Oversees the effective assignment of work, as well as individual and unit performance and productivity.
- Identifies, evaluates, and manages the risks and challenges presented or inherent to the department and its operation; Interacts with the executive management team to monitor and validate the enterprise’s compliance with its security policies in accordance with the industry and government requirements and standards.
- Controls the technical environment by providing security safeguards and measures as required by law to ensure that information remains in compliance with all HIPAA and corporate compliance standards, as well as industry accepted confidentiality standards.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Education & Experience
Master’s Degree (preferred) in a computer major (computer science, information systems, computer / software engineering, etc.) or related field from an approved and accredited college or university and eight (8) years’ experience in a Senior Leadership role, or a Bachelor’s Degree in a computer major (computer science, information systems, computer / software engineering, etc.) or related field from an approved and accredited college or university and ten (10) years’ experience in a Senior Leadership role.
Preferred
- Experience working in a complex organization with revenues of at least $30 million
- Experience in administrative principles and practices including goal setting and budget development and implementation
- IT Certification
- Experience in troubleshooting and crisis management.
- Experience in working with Executive Boards and presenting information.
- Knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed principles and practices, including the importance of creating a safe environment, fostering trust, promoting collaboration, and empowering individuals.
