What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independent Living Coordinator position at Youth and Family Programs- Family Center?
Youth and Family Programs is seeking an ILP Coordinator to join our team. The ILP Coordinator will process incoming ILP referrals, assigning them to case workers or forwarding them to the respective county of residence. This role involves maintaining strong relationships with Statewide ILP Coordinators by participating in Child Welfare Directors Association - ILP Subcommittee meetings, attending Coordinator Council meetings, and co-chairing the Far-Northern Coordinator Council.
The ILP Coordinator will supervise ILP Case Workers through monthly one-on-one meetings and will be readily available for support. This position also requires fostering collaborative relationships with local community agencies and colleges, as well as delivering presentations on the Independent Living Program to community partners. The coordinator will stay updated on program developments, state regulations, and personnel changes, and will attend county, state, and other required meetings. Additionally, the role includes providing quarterly reports for youth within the county and forwarding reports for youth who are dependents from other counties, while maintaining positive relationships with the CSD/CFS and Probation departments.
