Role Description
This is a volunteer role for an Adult Mentor at the Youth Center, located on-site in Palmer, AK. The Volunteer Mentor will be responsible for supervising and engaging with youth, facilitating creative and educational activities, providing guidance and support, and promoting a safe and positive environment for all participants. The mentor may also assist with organizing events and programs, and work closely with other volunteers and staff members to enhance the overall experience for the youth.
Qualifications
- Youth Mentoring and Youth Development skills
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Experience in Youth Work is beneficial
- Passion for supporting and guiding young people
- Ability to work on-site in Palmer, AK
- Previous volunteer experience is a plus
