What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2025 Guest Experience Promotions Representative (Part Time) position at YOUTH BASEBALL ACADEMY?
Guest Experience Promotions Representatives are responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and hospitality to all Nationals Park guests. Representatives will distribute promotional items & play a key role in shaping the guest experience. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting, positive impact on visitors at the Park. Promotional Representatives are expected to embody the Nationals' core values, ensuring every guest has a memorable experience. Additionally, they must uphold all promotional guidelines and regulations. Applicants are preferably high school students, recent high school graduates, and at least 18 years of age. This position is expected to work all Washington Nationals promotional games. Working additional games in this position may be available.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Requirements :
- Meet and greet all guests entering Nationals Park
- Distribute promotional giveaway items to guests
- Manage crowd control during promotional giveaways
- Assist with the set up and break down of Nationals Park promotions
- Effectively communicate promotional giveaway inventory with zone and promotions supervisors
- Uphold all promotional rules and regulations
- Assist with traffic flow of promotional giveaways
- Assist guests by providing accurate directions to seating section and key attractions within Nationals Park and surrounding areas (i.e., parking lots and Metro).
- Receive and quickly act upon requests or complaints from guests; refer serious problems to supervisory staff.
- Retain an extensive knowledge of the team, Nationals Park layout, seating Sections, key venue attractions, key team and venue personnel identity, and emergency activity procedures.
- In the event of an emergency, assist in evacuating Nationals Park, while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
- Establish and maintain cooperative, professional relationships with peers, supervisors and all other members of the organization.
- Monitor all public areas to ensure they meet company safety and cleanliness standards.
- Cohesively work in conjunction with other departments, including security, food service, box office, retail, parking, custodial / housekeeping, maintenance and Metropolitan Police Department.
- Perform additional functions and activities as directed by the Guest Experience Leadership Team as assigned.

Physical / Environmental Requirements
The projected wage rate for this position is $18.25 per hour. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s : qualifications, skills, expertise, education / training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
