YCS is currently hiring for a full-time School Speech and Language specialist to provide services to Sawtelle Learning Center in Montclair. Sawtelle Learning Center provides special education and ABA services for students on the autism spectrum.
Duties Include:
- Providing quality speech and language services for the students in accordance with the ASHA Code of Ethics and New Jersey Department of Education standards in conjunction with internal Youth Consultation Service guideline manuals and policies
- Identification, assessment and remediation of speech and language deficits of students in safe state-run school for special education needs children.
- Establishing and implementing goals and objectives, progress reports, staff and parent education and professional development are also primary to the speech therapist’s job responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
- Master's Degree
- NJ Department of Education Speech-Language Pathologist. Can be CCC or CFY.
- NJ License in speech pathology
- Experience with developmental disabilities and learning disabilities preferred
Hours:
- Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-3:00 PM
