Hiring Bonus $1000
Essential job duties and trained skills include:
- Attend all meetings as scheduled, including case plan/CFT, court, education, and multi-disciplinary team meetings and effectively serve as case manager.
- Respond promptly to the safety needs of youth and families including development, update, and communication of safety plans.
- Work with youth in our programs providing supports and skills training such as life skills training, mental health and substance abuse support, educational support, general welfare support as well as other related support.
- Implement behavior management and crisis strategies, modeling skills gained and demonstrating positive conflict management; assist families in implementation.
- Develop and implement case plan/POC strategies and procedures, including meeting facilitation, communication with team supports, and aftercare services/tracking.
- Complete all assessments as required and utilize assessments appropriately to complete case plan/POC strategies, monitoring progress to ensure success.
- Maintain working knowledge of community resources; determine and refer most appropriate community resources for youth and families.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field
- Current certification or ability to become certified (CSW) is preferred
- Able to pass an extensive background check

The Youth Crisis Center, Inc. (YCC) is a private, not-for-profit agency in Casper Wyoming which has provided emergency shelter and crisis intervention to children and families since 1982. YCC has also provided group home services to adolescents from 10-18 years of age since 1984.
