  • Develop and implement operational strategies that support business objectives and drive growth.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, ensuring processes are efficient and effective.
  • Supervise staff across various departments, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability.
  • Monitor profit loss metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
  • Oversee project management activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to align operational capabilities with market demands and customer expectations.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and coaching to team members for professional development.

Program Support:

  • Program coordination: Work closely with program directors to ensure operational support for program delivery, including logistics (including facility/space management), scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Quality assurance: Monitor program effectiveness and implement improvements to ensure high-quality service delivery through a dedicated continuous quality improvement process.

Financial Management:

  • Budgeting and financial oversight: Assist in the development of the annual budget and manage operational expenditures to align with the organization’s financial goals.
  • Grant management: Grant writing support. Oversee the administration of grants, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and timely reporting.
  • Cost control: Implement cost-saving measures without compromising program quality.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for Executive Director, stakeholders, board of directors, and external parties, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Coordinate Audit and Compliance: Support the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Experience

  • Proven experience in an operations management role or similar capacity.
  • Strong background in business development, strategic planning, and project management.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Experience in profit loss management, with a focus on driving financial performance.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

o Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred or combined equivalent education and experience.

o Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within a nonprofit organization focused on youth development or education.

o Critical Skills:

● Strong leadership and organizational skills.

● Excellent financial management and budgeting abilities.

● Proficient in HR practices and regulatory compliance.

● Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities.

● Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and operational software.
