Program Support:
- Program coordination: Work closely with program directors to ensure operational support for program delivery, including logistics (including facility/space management), scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Quality assurance: Monitor program effectiveness and implement improvements to ensure high-quality service delivery through a dedicated continuous quality improvement process.
Financial Management:
- Budgeting and financial oversight: Assist in the development of the annual budget and manage operational expenditures to align with the organization’s financial goals.
- Grant management: Grant writing support. Oversee the administration of grants, ensuring compliance with grant requirements and timely reporting.
- Cost control: Implement cost-saving measures without compromising program quality.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for Executive Director, stakeholders, board of directors, and external parties, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Coordinate Audit and Compliance: Support the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Experience
- Proven experience in an operations management role or similar capacity.
- Strong background in business development, strategic planning, and project management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Experience in profit loss management, with a focus on driving financial performance.
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
Qualifications:
o Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred or combined equivalent education and experience.
o Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably within a nonprofit organization focused on youth development or education.
