Would you like to teach basic Lego engineering classes to children and get paid for it? We provide all curriculum, lesson plans, and paid training.
Youth Enrichment League's mission is to enrich the lives of children by teaching them to think, learn, and play well. Youth Enrichment League partners with local communities to offer children, primarily in grades K-5, a variety of enrichment opportunities, such as chess, LEGOs, Fencing, and more.
In this PART TIME TEACHER position, you will be responsible for the following:
- Sharing your passion and enthusiasm for teaching kiddos Lego building and engineering concepts.
- Can-Do Attitude: Going above and beyond to engage students in your pre-packaged lessons teaching basic robotics or chess skills.
- Stewardship and Safety: Following our safety policies and those of our community partners.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPECTATIONS:
- Experience working with children is preferred. Experience examples include: youth summer camps, youth coaching, Sunday School instruction, baby sitting, having children of your own, etc.
- Availability on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-4:45pm.
- A reliable vehicle/transportation.
- A valid driver's License and ability to transport and store supplies needed to teach a class.

- You'll get paid $5 for arriving 15 minutes early to class, and you'll receive a mileage bonus if the distance from your home to the school is over 15 miles.
