As a Senior Accountant, you will oversee key accounting functions such as receivables, invoicing, monthly close processes, financial reporting, and more. Responsibilities
- Manage accounts receivable and invoicing processes.
- Oversee and support monthly close activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, including bank reports and analytics.
- Execute wires, ACH activities, and ensure timely bank reconciliations.
- Record vendor payments and all financial transactions accurately.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices in government accounting.
Key Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain an access card to the site.
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes (strongly preferred).
- Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with Deltek is a strong plus.
- Solid background in financial reporting and invoicing.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Leadership potential to help drive initiatives and improve processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 10-15 years of accounting experience, ideally within government accounting.
