Key Responsibilities
Spiritual growth & development:
- Active participation in personal spiritual disciplines (prayer, Bible study, fellowship) to model spiritual growth.
- Help guide and encourage students’ spiritual growth.
- Manage the Gahanna Campus Life calendar.
- Help organize weekly Club program, camps, and outreach events (e.g., winter/summer camps, retreats).
- Assist in coordinating and administering in-school programs.
- Coordinate logistics (transportation, communication, promotional material distribution).
- Help recruit students for trips, events, and leadership opportunities.
- Assist in recruiting and encouraging volunteers.
- Help with development events like See the Story tours and Be the Story events.
- Ensure ministry data is collected and submitted to COYFC.
- Participate in bi-weekly supervision meetings and ministry leader team meetings.
- Complete weekly timesheets and payroll requirements.
Qualifications
- Committed to following Jesus and faithful involvement in a local church.
- A heart for youth ministry and a desire to students meet Christ and grow in their faith.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and under supervision.
- Experience in event planning, administration, or working with youth is a plus, but not required.
- Willingness to engage in personal spiritual growth and lead by example.

- Be ready and willing to lead and contribute to distinctly Christian activities such as devotional worship or prayer services.
- Seek God’s guidance and wisdom, through prayer and meditation, for the organization as a whole as well as for specific ministry initiatives
- Regularly pray for and share spiritual content with existing and prospective donors to COYFC
