Job Responsibilities
As an Instructional Coach at YOUTH FOR TOMORROW NEW LIFE CENTER INC, your primary duties will include planning and delivering instruction to meet individual and group needs, assessing student progress through pre and post assessments, and maintaining accurate records. You will also provide healthy and appropriate role modeling, work closely with the School Principal and other staff members to ensure the Education program remains successful, and keep fellow Teachers, Residential staff, Therapists, and Case Managers informed of student's progress.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis on secondary education, certification by the Virginia State Department of Education, and knowledge in the field of instruction. You should also have skills and abilities to positively interact with students, maintain discipline, and promote a positive learning environment. Furthermore, you must be able to maintain all required documentation and effectively challenge, nurture and develop the educational abilities of at-risk youth in a residential setting.
