Role Description
This full-time role as a Counselor for our Music Camps is located on-site in Portland, OR. The Counselor will be responsible for overseeing daily camp activities, providing guidance to camp participants, and ensuring a safe and engaging environment. Tasks include organizing music-related exercises, facilitating group activities, addressing any issues that arise, and providing individual support to campers when needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in organizing and conducting music-related activities and workshops
- Skills in mentoring, coaching, and providing guidance to young individuals
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Background in education, music, or youth programs is beneficial
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Certifications in first aid or youth counseling are a plus
