Are you passionate about working with at-risk youth and helping them build brighter futures? Youth Outreach Services (YOS) is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Outreach Counselor to join our team.
Outreach Counselor Key Responsibilities:- Conduct outreach to engage high-risk youth and their families in services.
- Meet with parents/guardians to support youth engagement.
- Provide counseling, employment, educational, and life skills training.
- Coordinate with YOS services to connect youth and families to resources.
- Offer transportation to youth as needed.
- Build relationships with referral sources that are beneficial to clients.
- Make referrals to appropriate internal and external programs, ensuring timely follow-ups.
- Develop and implement service plans tailored to youth needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in electronic records.
- Participate in team meetings, supervision, and collaborative agency programs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology (required).
- Experience working with at-risk youth and families.
- Familiarity with outreach programs.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance.
