What are the responsibilities and job description for the Youth Addiction Recovery Coordinator position at Youth Outreach Services?
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Screening: Conduct thorough assessments and screenings of youth entering the Reception and Classification Unit, as well as any additional youth assigned.
- Case Consultation: Participate in case consultation and planning as assigned by management.
- Staff Meetings: Participate in multi-disciplinary staff meetings as assigned.
- Referral and Discharge: Facilitate referral and discharge recommendations for youth receiving substance use disorder treatment.
- Education and Therapy: Conduct educational and therapeutic groups for youth as assigned.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate record keeping and documentation for assessment and screening tools, as well as assigned group activities.
- Case Management: Provide case management and coordination for youth receiving substance use disorder treatment.
- Staff Development: Participate in staff growth and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
