Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Program Coordinator to support the coordination and execution of events, workshops, and partnership initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, a passion for community engagement, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
This role is key in ensuring smooth operations and positive experiences for volunteers, partners, and participants. The Program Coordinator will also assist with outreach efforts and play an active role in ensuring effective communication and coordination among stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnership Coordination: Serve as the main point of contact for existing and potential partners, fostering positive relationships and ensuring all partnership agreements are executed smoothly.
- Volunteer Coordination: Manage volunteer schedules, assignments, and ensure volunteers are equipped with the necessary resources and information to perform their duties effectively.
- Event Management: Maintain and manage the monthly calendar of events and workshops. Ensure that all logistics, including venue setup and breakdown, are handled efficiently.
- Venue Management: Open and close the venue as necessary, ensuring smooth daily operations, including securing the space at the end of each day.
- Building Key Log: Keep an accurate log of building keys, ensuring they are checked in and out appropriately.
- Participant Feedback: Collect and organize exit surveys from event participants to gather feedback on their experiences and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Outreach and Tabling Support: Assist with outreach activities, including tabling events, providing information, and promoting organizational programs.
- Community Liaison Support: Provide assistance to the Community Liaison in organizing and executing community-focused initiatives and engagements.
- Marketing and Branding: Ensure all partner flyers and marketing materials are co-branded and aligned with the organization's visual identity and messaging.
- Meeting Attendance: Represent the organization in partnership meetings, providing updates on program activities and contributing to ongoing discussions.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Social Sciences, Public Administration, Community Development) recommended or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in program coordination or community engagement.
- Experience working with volunteers, partners, and event planning is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with calendar and scheduling software.
- Comfortable with technology for survey collection and outreach tools.
Other:
- Ability to work evenings or weekends as required by event schedules.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
