Roles and Responsibilities: 1.Deliver instruction that aligns with our school's unique curriculum and educational model. 2.Collaborate with colleagues to develop integrated project-based learning experiences. 3.Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that respects and values diversity. 4.Use student data to inform instruction, ensuring individual learning needs are met. 5.Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the learning community within the school. 6.Participate in staff meetings and actively engage in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and Common Planning Time (CPT) to collaboratively achieve common goals influencing student achievement. 7.Engage families and community partners to support student learning. 8.Prioritize the creation and maintenance of a respectful, collaborative learning environment. 9.Commit to eliminating student proficiency gaps and improving overall student achievement. Job Requirements: 1.Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. 2.Current and active Rhode Island State Secondary Certification. 3.Current B.C.I. 4.Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, with urban teaching experience preferred. 5.Bilingual applicants and dual certification in MLL are strongly preferred. 6.Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. 7.Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and the public. 8.Citizenship, residency, or work visa required. 9.Dedication to the mission and values of YouthBuild Preparatory Academy, including our focus on Growth, Relationships, Agency, and Belonging.
