What are the responsibilities and job description for the Overnight Youth Shelter Worker- Part- time position at Youthworks?
Are you interested in supporting at-risk youth and gaining valuable career experience? Youthworks is seeking applicants to provide basic care and supervision for youth at its Short-Term Care and Assessment Center in Fargo. This position entails being a positive role model, direct supervision of youth and performing initial intakes with youth who need emergency shelter. Overnight staff ensure youth are safe during sleeping hours, do night checks, cleaning tasks, and perform initial intakes if youth are placed in the middle of the night. Some light cooking and cleaning required. The program is staffed 24-7.
We are currently seeking applicants who are interested in overnight hours. Applicants must be at least 20 years of age, be able to pass a background check, and attend mandatory training. Additional details at www.youthworksnd.org.
