Duties/Responsibilities
Yrefy, LLC is a dynamic lender solving the Student Loan dilemma with unique financial products for Borrowers and Investors. We stand alone with our 7-year specialized refinance and investment products. We are growing and are seeking like-minded people to build our team. A strong desire to learn and grow is important.
Yrefy, LLC is looking for a Broadcast Media Specialist who will support the strategic initiatives to create and maintain a positive media image for the Company.

Duties/Responsibilities
- Schedules and attends all conference calls with media vendors.
- Audits and reviews all media invoices.
- Audits and reviews all talent fees.
- Monitors the progress of the Company’s radio, television, and digital campaigns.
- Interacts with talent and makes changes to copy prints and live reads.
- Monitors and controls the EVP of Media’s calendar.
- Handles the distribution of local event tickets to the staff.
- Assists with the EVP of Media’s email and handles emails under the scope of duties.
- Attends all meetings and training courses as required.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of media relations principles and strategies.
- Excellent public speaking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and networking skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with media contacts and outlets.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience building strategic presentations and dynamically presenting them.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of CRM software.
- Associate’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field required.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Five (5) years of related experience preferred.
- Personal assistance experience preferred.
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
