Job Summary
We are a cosmetology school, seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies to enhance our online presence, engage with our audience, and promote our brand. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, advertising techniques, and the ability to create compelling content that resonates with our target market.
Duties
- Develop and execute social media marketing strategies across various platforms to increase brand awareness and engagement.
- Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with the brand’s voice and goals.
- Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and industry news to inform content strategy.
- Utilize SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines and enhance visibility.
- Conduct research on current trends in social media, advertising techniques, and best practices to stay ahead of the competition.
- Manage relationships with influencers and partners to expand reach and promote collaboration opportunities.
- Analyze metrics and performance data to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with photography teams to produce high-quality visual content that supports marketing initiatives.
Experience
- Proven experience in social media management or a related field is essential.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and their respective audiences.
- Experience in advertising on social media platforms is a plus.
- Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze data effectively.
- Proficient in relationship management with both internal teams and external partners.
- Strong proofreading skills with an eye for detail in written communication.
- Familiarity with SEO principles is desirable.
- A portfolio showcasing previous work in social media marketing or related projects is preferred.
