YSI is seeking a highly qualified PL/SQL Developer. The selected candidate will be able to communicate effectively (written/verbal), possess strong interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, and be innovative in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:
- Analyzes functional business applications and designs specifications for functional areas such as payroll, logistics, and contracts.
- Develops block diagrams and logic flow charts.
- Translates detailed design into computer software.
- Tests, debugs, and refines computer software to produce the required products
- Prepares required program-level and user-level documentation.
- Enhances software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
- Provides technical direction as required to ensure that program deadlines are met.
- Creates and/or maintains database procedures, packages, triggers, standalone PL/SQL scripts, SQL queries, and Unix shell scripts.
- Modifies existing software and creates special-purpose software to ensure efficiency and integrity between systems and applications.
Responsibilities/Required Skills:
- Must be highly fluent in SQL, PLSQL, HP UNIX OS
