YSI is seeking a highly skilled and experienced QA Tester to support the program at Fort Belvoir, VA. The ideal candidate will be responsible execute the test cases, document the results, notify developers/engineers of issues detected, retest software, and repeat the process until all identified defects have been rectified

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare test cases to verify new applications meet all business and technical requirements that were defined in the TALE.

· Shall execute the test cases, document the results, notify developers/engineers of issues detected, retest software, and repeat the process until all identified defects have been rectified.

· The Contractor shall report testing metrics to the Government in electronic (Microsoft 365 or Adobe PDF) format one (1) business day before the scheduled Status Report meeting and as a verbal presentation during the Status Report meeting.

· At a minimum, the testing metrics shall include the name of the applications tested and the number of problem reports generated, resolved, rejected, and still open.

· Unit Testing, Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V), and Regression Testing shall be completed as necessary.

· Responsible for validating with the customer that the software solution is acceptable and that it meets the customer’s business requirements prior to production deployment.

· User Acceptance Testing (UAT), System Testing, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing are conducted the Contractor shall capture and analyze test results and implement solutions to correct deficiencies identified.

· The Contractor shall establish customer UAT test cases to assist customer testing activities if required. Test cases shall be delivered in electronic format (Microsoft Excel).

· Responsible for carrying out procedures to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end-user requirements.

· Performs and leads tests of software to ensure proper operation and freedom from defects. May create test data for applications. Documents and works to resolve all complex problems.

· Reports progress on problem resolution to management. Devises improvements to current procedures and develops models of possible future configurations. Acts as information resource about assigned areas to technical writers and other Quality Assurance Analysts. Performs complex workflow analysis and recommends quality improvements.

· MA/MS Black Belt certification (Six Sigma) w/h 10 experience or BA/BS w/12 years’ experience.

· Active Secret Clearance required.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Salary : $100,000 - $120,000
