Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver/Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering and installing products to customers in a safe and timely manner while providing exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of delivery logistics, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and assemble appliances.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport appliances to various locations.
- Assemble and install appliances as needed upon delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns during deliveries.
- Utilize schematics to understand product assembly and installation requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or issues encountered during the delivery process.
- Ensure all products are securely loaded and unloaded, taking care to refrigerate items that require temperature control.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the road and at delivery locations.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for product assembly and installation tasks.
- Must be able to lift heavy items (up to 100 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with delivery duties.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in the field.
- At least 2 years of experience.
- Drug screen required
