Job Details
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Specialist to collaborate with YU & Associates, a respected Engineering Firm in Bergen County, New Jersey. As an Infrastructure Specialist with YU & Associates, you will work on various projects within the New York Metropolitan area.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise and be accountable for contributing to the development of construction plans, specifications, technical reports, and proposals.
- Effective planning, coordination, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities.
- Preparation of accurate and thorough technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches.
- Maintenance of precise records and files.
- Representation of the company positively and professionally.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required; Master's preferred.
- EIT strongly recommended.
- Desire to obtain P.E.
- At least 3 years of civil consulting and field inspection experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation V8i and Microsoft office essential.
- Ability to create customized maps utilizing GIS and CADD.
- Familiarity with fundamental engineering concepts and principles.
- Understanding of basic research methods, evaluation, recommendation, and presentation techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Complementary skills or experience relevant to our current staff.
- Flexibility in field and office assignments.
