Description :
Responsible for working independently to deliver and remove materials / product to the finishing lines. Material Handlers can be assigned to any line if necessary for production requirements.
- Prepares work area for the shift.
- Uses bill of materials and process operation sheets to determine materials needed for each production run.
- Notifies Warehouse Supervisor for any Material Handling issues.
- Moves material to and from the manufacturing area.
- Loads and unloads trailers.
- May pick orders when necessary.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Must be forklift certified.
- Must be able to learn mechanical operations within the department.
- Must maintain a pace to complete production requirements.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Other reporting and duties as assigned.
