What are the responsibilities and job description for the Para Educator Moderate/Severe Special Education (Multiple Full-Time Openings) position at Yuba County Office of Education?
Moderate/Severe Life Skills classroom at Virginia School – age range of 15-22 year old student who may need assistance with toileting and self help skills. The classroom utilizes positive behavior intervention strategies including visual supports, sensory strategies and positive reinforcement to teach functional life skills. 1. High School diploma or the equivalent and
2. 48 college units (attach evidence) or
3. A.A. degree or higher (attach evidence) or
4: Pass a local assessment of knowledge (Paraprofessional Exam)
