Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Liquor Store Manager** to oversee the day-to-day operations of our retail liquor store. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, excellent customer service skills, and a deep knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise and train store staff, including scheduling and performance evaluations
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to the sale of alcoholic beverages
- Maintain inventory levels, track stock, and order new products as needed
- Oversee merchandising and store layout to maximize sales
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests
- Implement promotions and sales strategies to increase revenue
- Manage financials, including sales reports, profit margins, and budgeting
- Ensure a safe and clean store environment
- Collaborate with vendors and distributors to ensure product availability
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong skills in inventory management and control are essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers and motivate staff.
- Experience in cash handling and budgeting is highly desirable.
- Ability to recruit, train, and develop team members effectively.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong organizational skills.
- Familiarity with retail software systems is an advantage but not required.

- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a liquor store or related industry
- Strong knowledge of wines, spirits, and beer
- Proven ability to lead a team and manage store operations

- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a background check
