What are the responsibilities and job description for the Chief Engineer position at Yukon Fire Protection, Inc.?
The Chief Engineer position is considered a “working supervisor”. The Chief Engineer is responsible for all working matters in the operations of the facilities. Must be able to perform the following responsibilities :
- Perform required services for building(s) with approximately 1 Mil square feet or greater.
- Perform required services for multi-storied / multi-tenant facilities / executive offices.
- Ability to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repair of equipment and systems.
- Ability to operate and maintain Electrical Systems & Equipment; read electrical schematics.
- Ability to operate and maintain mechanical, plumbing, BAS, HVAC (Boilers, Chillers, AHUs) in commercial buildings.
- Ability to operate and maintain fire protection and life safety systems and equipment.
- Experience with building automation control systems such as BAS, Niagra, Tridium, JACE, Public Address, and Computerized Lighting Systems.
- Ability to operate and maintain architectural and structural systems, fixtures, and equipment.
- Ability to conduct Service Request Desk Operation to include NCMMS and maintenance of landscape irrigation systems.
- Ability to operate and maintain egress and access systems including locks, keys, keycard system, vehicle barrier system, static and dynamic bollard systems, dock levelers and bumpers, roll-up and sliding garage doors.
- Experience with storm drainage systems.
- Ability to operate and maintain sanitary sewage / ejector equipment and systems.
Must be able to pass a federal background investigation.
