Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and caring for trees.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely to complete grounds maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Manage snow removal operations during winter months to ensure safe access to facilities.
- Assist with irrigation systems to maintain healthy landscapes throughout the seasons.
- Implement hardscape projects as needed to enhance outdoor spaces.
- Dig and prepare areas for planting or installation of landscape features.
- Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or hazards.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed timely and effectively.
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge related to grounds maintenance equipment and tools.
- Experience in lawn care practices including mowing and tree care techniques.
- Ability to operate snow plowing equipment safely and effectively during winter months.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and hardscaping principles is a plus.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor outdoors in various weather conditions.
