Position Summary:
Provide direct support services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Coordinate village-based services and assist in accessing resources. Collaborate with Traditional Council to ensure safety and well-being. Meet regularly with individuals and families to address self-sufficiency issues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate community services and resources for assigned individuals.
2. Work with Traditional Council to guarantee the individual's safety and well-being.
3. Assist individuals in achieving self-sufficiency through regular meetings and family collaboration.
Requirements:
- Experience or education in special education, child/family health and development, counseling, or community development (preferred).
- Knowledge of community and regional resources.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Criminal background clearance.
- Tuberculin clearance upon employment and annually thereafter.
