The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is a Tribal health care organization, serving nearly 30,000 people living across rural, southwest Alaska in villages with populations from about 10 to more than 1,000. Bethel, the regional hub and location of the only hospital in the region, has a population of nearly 7,000. The Yukon-Kuskokwim Delta is home to thousands of lakes and two primary rivers—the Kuskokwim and Yukon.

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Director of Employee Relations and Human Resource Administrator, this position works with employees at all levels of the Corporation to 1) address employee relations issues, 2) provide training and support, 3) ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, 4) conduct investigations and recommend appropriate action, 5) develop and implement HR programs and policies, and 6) other duties as assigned. Contributes to employee experience efforts as requested.
Provides special guidance and assistance to all YKHC departments and employees relating to YKHC policies, and employee relations, including disciplinary actions, disputes, investigations and terminations with the guidance of the Employee Relations Manager or Director, Human Resources.

Position Qualifications
- Minimum Education - Bachelors or Masters degree preferred.
- Minimum Experience - At least three years of professional human resources administration required with experience in employee relations preferred.
- License, Certification, Registration - Valid Alaska's Driver's License
- Equipment/Tools - Computer, phone, fax/copy machine, calculator
- Specialized Knowledge and Skills - Knowledge of fedral and state employyment laws. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Supervisory Responsibilities - None.
