The Yukon-Kuskokwim Health Corporation is seeking a qualified Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist to provide critical services to our WIC Program participants. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and community partners to promote healthy lifestyles and improve health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
This role involves providing expert nutritional guidance and support to high-risk clients and all eligible participants served by the WIC Program. Key responsibilities include completing Enteral Nutrition Prescription Request forms, conducting home visits to provide care and WIC certification, and participating in ongoing program evaluation and improvement initiatives.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field.
- Current licensure as a Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist.
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, preferably in a public health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to remote locations.
