PRIMARY FUNCTION
StraitSys is seeking talented professionals to join our successful and growing team in building the next-generation Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Cyber data solution. The CDM Program is the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's (CISA) dynamic approach to strengthening the cybersecurity of Federal networks and systems through better awareness and visibility into their security posture and cyber threats. StraitSys is responsible for designing, building, deploying, operating, and maintaining a complete 'Data Services' solution which includes the collection, normalization, visualization, and sharing of cyber data from more than 100 Federal agencies. The CDM Data Services product is an integrated suite of multiple Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) products, software configuration packages, and custom code which work together to operate as an integrated solution tailored to meet Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requirements.

StraitSys is seeking a talentedCapacity PlanningEngineertoefficiently develop andmaintainthe program'scapacityplan to includefinancial impacts for system capabilities.Effectivecapacityplanning begins with a deep understanding of system design, deployed assets, capabilities, andrelevant financialinputs.The successful candidate will workclosely with technical leaders, program leads, and solutionengineerstogather information and inputs to develop a robustcapacityplan and budget inputs.
The ideal candidate will be able tovalidatedeployments, coordinate inputs, andfacilitateconversations supportingcapacityplanning.The candidate will also be in a customer facing role, interacting with the customerto developand updatedeliverables describing systemcapacityand budgeting needs.TheCapacity PlanningEngineerplays asignificantrole in customer planning strategies and budget management, delivering financial insights and shaping program vision.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Develop and managecapacityplans reflecting current state deployments.
- Provide cost estimations reflecting the system's current state.
- Provide cost estimations for future state to include scaling and capability onboarding.
- Providecapacityand planning presentations to the customer and interested parties.
