PRIMARY FUNCTION
Design, develop, and manage the organization's enterprise data architecture to support efficient data access, integration, and management. Responsible for implementing and optimizing data solutions such as Data Mesh, Data Fabric, and Data Pipelines, ensuring alignment with business goals and scalability for future needs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Develop and implement strategies for modern data architecture, including Data Mesh and Data Fabric, to promote decentralized data ownership and interoperability.
- Design and maintain robust, scalable, and secure data pipelines to support analytics, machine learning, and operational systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and data scientists to translate business needs into data architecture solutions.
- Define and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance across the organization.
- Evaluate and integrate new technologies and platforms to enhance the organization's data capabilities.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data architecture, standards, and processes.
- Provide technical leadership in projects related to data integration, migration, and transformation.
- Ensure alignment of data architecture with overall IT and business strategies.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Potential to supervise personnel as team grows.
