Primary Function

Responsible for the operational planning, establishment, execution, and evaluation of a multifaceted space domain program involving the critical functions needed for warfighting : find, fix, track, target, engage and assess threats.

Essential Duties :

  • Responsible for fiscal, operational, administrative, and human resources management of the program.
  • Provides day-to-day technical and professional guidance and leadership to the team.
  • Manages and mitigates program risk.
  • Responsible for writing and submitting Status Reports to the Program Manager and Contract Officer Representative.
  • Provide an analytical review of current and future SEW capabilities.
  • Prepare briefings and reports for Delta and Headquarters leadership.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

  • Extensive experience in Space Electromagnetic Warfare.
  • Experience operating or in support of (i.e. electromagnetic warfare, Joint operations planner, EW Intelligence, management, oversight, or operations), any SEW systems in military, commercial / civil, or academia
  • Experience in Joint operations planning and developing / coordinating tasking orders, the concept of operations, special instructions, deployment orders, execution orders, etc.
  • Experience working with HQ S-Staff Directorates, that operate in support of current and future SEW mission areas
  • Experience advising / supporting acquisition / integration of future space electromagnetic warfare weapon systems, either upgrades or next-generation capabilities
  • Apply strong technical and managerial capabilities and best industry practices to proactively advance every project you're assigned to.
  • Develop and manage the Joint Exercise Life Cycle for Mission Delta 3 ISO of Tier 1 and Tier 2 exercises including the planning, development, execution, and analysis of exercises along with planning, coordinating, preparing, and implementing EW capabilities ISO of Combatant Command exercises.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and support for conferences such as the Concept Development Conference (CDC); Initial Planning Conference (IPC); Mid-Planning Conference (MPC); Final Planning Conference (FPC); and Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) Synchronization Conference (SYNCH).
  • Provide Event Control Group (ECG) augmentation during training, exercises, wargames, TTXs, and real-world event preparation to assist with scenarios and products related to training .
  • Provide feedback for after-action reviews; recommend improvements for follow-on Space Integrated Training events; prepare and conduct hotwash briefings; and prepare and deliver after action reports.
  • Understanding the Counterspace Activities Approval Package process and the different levels of delegations and approval.
  • Required Qualifications :

  • Master of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, Business or related discipline from an accredited college or university,
  • MCP (or equivalent), and / or Agile Certification (or equivalent). One year of relevant education may be substituted for one year of the required experience.
  • Must have an active TS / SCI Security clearance, SAP Eligibility
  • Expertise to support policy and procedure development for planning, coordinating, preparing, and implementing DoD Joint Exercises and support to Combatant Command exercises
  • Possess the specific skills, knowledge, and comprehension to perform all task functions quickly and accurately without supervision or assistance
  • Understanding of USSF Doctrine and Development Process and Tactical Development (TACDEV) program
  • Knowledge of CJCSI 3150.25G, "Joint Lessons Learned Program," the Joint Lessons Learned Division (JLLD), and joint lessons learned information system (JLLIS) database
