What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate People and Culture Generalist (9-month Contract) position at Yum! Brands?
This is a short-term contract role, slated for months
Key Responsibilities :
Talent Management / Employee Relations :
Lead the People Planning Review process for client groups, partnering with team leaders to drive effective internal development and succession planning processes
Partner with recruiting team to oversee talent selection process for all positions across client groups
Counsel coaches on general Employee Relations and Performance Management issues
Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking answers to their HR questions
Process severances in partnership with broader HR, Legal and Payroll Teams, preparing severance packets and Personal Benefits Statements for processing. Liaise with displaced employee, outplacement and financial services vendors.
People Development :
Partner with coaches to identify development needs and solutions to build individual, coach capability
Manage planning and execution of development processes for Yum! Corp., analyzing results to inform strategy to build capability across client groups
Lead the Year End Performance Calibration process for client groups, working with functional leads to ensure maximum impact
Employee Engagement :
Support an engaging culture to fuel business results leveraging employee feedback results and other insights as a guide
Serve as Culture Leader, scheduling team events, huddles, celebrating team birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
Minimum Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree (preferred in Human Resources Management or related field)
years HR experience, preferably with Fortune company
Proven results in building client partnerships and leveraging processes and tools to drive results
Strong understanding of HR policies and practices
Strong analytical skills
Excellent conflict management skills, including leading others in effectively navigating through productive conflict
