Summary:
The USR Team Lead provides direct supervision to the unit support representatives of the Women and Children’s Services (WCS) division. These employees are engaged in scheduling, registration, insurance verification, admission and discharge processes as well as unit specific duties within the WCS division. The team lead reviews documentation for accuracy; ensures financial information is verified; and provides information to appropriate areas in a timely manner while providing timely and accurate feedback to patients, families, and other employees. The USR team lead will also be the birth certificate supervisor and will be accountable for ensuring staff complete the birth certificate and fetal demise paperwork in a timely manner; while reviewing for accuracy and ensuring that all paperwork is submitted to the State within the specified time. In addition to the job duties assigned, the lead is responsible for participating in the scheduling, training, and collaboration of the assigned team within WCS division.

- Accountable for ensuring staff complete all birth certificates and fetal demise paperwork in a timely manner. Reviews birth certificates for accuracy and complies with submission timelines. Also takes responsibility for ensuring that all state requirements are met and certificates maintained.
- Uses appropriate technology to facilitate the collection and analysis of performance data; Provides Director with regular updates of key performance indicators and productivity/utilization of staff; Collaborates with Information Technology for future enhancements and/or system upgrades while balancing needs of the area.
- Responsible for scheduling, training, and collaboration of the assigned team including coordination of care with other areas of the organization.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2 years related experience
