POSITION SUMMARY
The Yumlish Project and Program Coordinator (PC) is responsible for managing and supporting all aspects of the Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP) and other programs. The PC assists with achievement of quality performance outcomes and that all Center of Disease Control (CDC) and American Diabetes Association (ADA) Standards for DPP are met. The PC will also collaborate with program staff and stakeholders to develop grant applications, managing the grant budget, and ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
The ideal candidate should have experience managing projects and programs, be highly organized, and possess excellent communication skills.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program
- Provide administrative support for the program team including Program Manager
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all program supplies and participant incentives on an ongoing basis.
- Responsible for maintaining ADA and CDC recognition data and participating in the evaluation of the DPP program.
- Responsible for data tracking and submission, gathers, enters, and/or updates data to maintain all DPP records in databases, as appropriate.
- Creates and maintains dashboards for tracking attendance, weight and physical activity, as well as, class and coach perfromance.
- Maintains engagement with participants via CRM
- Monitors activities as appropriate, and prepares internal reports for management as required.
- Communicates with participants in Yumlish programs as needed.
- Supports and assists Yumlish Lifestyle Coaches/ RDs as required.
- Oversees Class Assistants as needed.
Project
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Allocate resources and oversee project teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Monitor project progress, identify and manage risks, and communicate project status to stakeholders
- Prepare and submit grant proposals to secure funding for projects
- Manage grant budgets/reports and ensure compliance with grant requirements
- Maintain accurate records and produce reports on grant activities
- Ensure that project activities comply with relevant laws and regulations

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Required: Bilingual Spanish
- Required: Bachelor's degree in public health or related field
- Preferred: Masters in Public Health, Dietetics, or Nutrition
- Preferred: CRM Experience
- Knowledge of Google applications such Sheets, Docs, Slides
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
- Must be self-initiating and be able to perform administrative tasks related to the implementation of a nation-wide diabetes prevention program;
- Ability to work effectively in a complex environment with a dynamic program team;
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred: Experience working with a weight management program or a diabetes prevention program.
- Preferred: Experience assisting a multi-functional team and successfully completing a variety of tasks.
- Preferred: A valid driver's license is required for travel. TX drivers license required within 60 days of hire and must be maintained.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $13.00 - $19.00 per hour
