Description
Job Title: Childcare Billing Specialist Department: Admin
Reports to: Accounting Supervisor Effective Date: December 2024
Schedule: 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday
Job Summary:
Handles various accounting functions as part of the YWCA Child Care and Business Office team. Responsible for data collection, data entry and billing for child care accounts.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Enter new and existing families into CCFA and complete placements
- Update Kinderwait for child care families
- Send out notices for renewal of placements
- Enter new families into Procare system, manage updates and post billing
- Generate child care statements and submit for approval
- Complete weekly child care enrollment and attendance
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience with child care billing
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organization and interpersonal skills
- Excellent teamwork skills
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 3 – 5 years related experience
- Procare experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
