Teacher (Daycare)

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Daycare Teacher to join our team. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for children while promoting their physical, emotional, and intellectual development. Your role will involve implementing age-appropriate activities, maintaining a clean and organized classroom, and ensuring the well-being of each child in your care. Responsibilities: - Create and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the daycare curriculum - Provide a safe and supportive environment for children to learn and grow - Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities - Assist with mealtime routines, including feeding and promoting healthy eating habits - Change diapers and assist with potty training as needed - Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise - Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure a cohesive learning environment - Maintain accurate records of each child's daily activities, including meals, naps, and behavior incidents Skills: - Experience in nannying, babysitting, or daycare settings - Knowledge of first aid procedures for children - Ability to manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques - Familiarity with preschool curriculum and early childhood development principles - Experience working with students with special needs or in special education is a plus - Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues - Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment - Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children At our daycare center, we offer competitive pay rates, ongoing professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
