In this role, the Employment Specialist will:
- Support transitional-age youth experiencing their first episode of psychosis by assisting them with vocational activities, employment, and educational opportunities
- Work with Dress for Success clients who are preparing for employment by providing guidance on securing appropriate professional attire
Position Details:
- All tasks must be managed while following specific time-related grant requirements
- Candidate will need to provide guidance and support to all program participants with obtaining their goals and assist with eliminating significant barriers
- Should be familiar with Supported Employment/Supported Education practices, social service resources, area employers, job development, workforce development, community outreach, and wrap around services

- Exceptional organization, time management, and record-keeping skills
- Ability to apply basic skills for effective written and verbal communication

- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
- ACRE certification is a plus
