Responsibilities
Supervise 17 to 24 Childcare Staff including creating schedules
Facilitate ongoing communication with parents
Support Classroom Teachers in creating a safe, fun learning environment for children
Create and monitor ongoing training for program staff
Provide orientations and intake of new families
Communicate with program partners to provide additional services as needed.
Qualifications
BA IN EARLY CHILDHOOD OR RELATED FIELD.
MINIMUM 1-YEAR EXPERIENCE WITH STAFF SUPERVISION REQUIRED.
1 OR MORE COURSES IN PROGRAM ADMINISTRATION.
MINIMUM OF 1-YEAR EXPERIENCE AS A HEAD TEACHER.
THOROUGH UNDERSTANDING OF EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT.
KNOWLEDGE OF CURRICULUM AND INSTRUCTION.
RELATES WELL WITH CHILDREN AND ADULTS.
EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILL
