PRIMARY FUNCTION : The GSRP Advanced Early Learning Professional provides childcare and implements the educational curriculum and assessment tool within the Great Start Readiness Program classrooms.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- High school diploma or equivalent required. CDA certification or two years of post-secondary coursework or an Associate’s Degree in early childhood education.
- Significant and relevant post-high school education or training in early childhood education or child / family-related field.
- At least two years of experience working with young children and families in a licensed childcare setting.
- Ability to comprehend and implement Creative Curriculum, Teaching Strategies GOLD
- Ability to comprehend and utilize The Ages and Stages Questionnaire (developmental screener)
- Has and maintains active CDA certification .
- Ability to comprehend and implement childcare licensing and regulatory affairs requirements
- Ability to meet requirements of the Bureau of Child and Adult Licensing.
- Satisfactory response to criminal and child abuse and neglect history checks.
- Demonstrated ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
