About The Role
Pay Range : $50,000 - $55,000 DOQOur ideal candidate has been successful in networking and developing strategies to attract candidates to a mission-based organization that is a top performer in the non-profit field. The full-cycle Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for putting the YWCA Minneapolis mission into action by building and executing sourcing strategies and action plans to identify and attract diverse candidates for positions across our organization. The position oversees each aspect of the recruiting cycle and collaborates with leadership to develop talent acquisition strategies and to advise hiring managers on best practices for assessing and interviewing candidates, while maintaining strong connections in the community and staying informed of local talent trends.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Plan, source, coordinate, and execute recruiting strategies with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusionServe as a resource to hiring managers on integrating inclusive hiring practices into the recruiting processUtilize multiple recruiting sources and sourcing techniques to identify top talent, including building relationships with third-party organizations, to consistently build a diverse pipeline of candidatesPartner with hiring managers to develop effective marketplace recruitment strategiesWork with internal partners such as Marketing and Communications to attract and promote YWCA Minneapolis CareersIdentify target industries, companies, user groups, professional associations or education institutions to proactively create pools of qualified candidatesPrepare and deliver bi-weekly updates on recruiting strategies and results for department leadersRegister and represent YWCA Minneapolis at community career fairs and networking eventsStay current on recruiting trends and best practicesEnsure job postings and organization chart are continually up to dateConsult with hiring managers on position titles, descriptions, requirements, compensation and sourcing strategies; design and manage job postingsLead the overall interview, selection, and closing process, including working with hiring managers on development of selection criteria and interview questions, and participation in interviews.Screen candidates, including resume and job application reviewWork with hiring managers on the offer process including extending job offers and negotiating employment termsPerform background and reference checks as neededEnsure that all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulationsManage organization onboarding process for new employees and new hire orientation; assist hiring managers in creating departmental onboarding plans and ensuring new hires are integrated into their team I a positive and organized mannerCollaborate with internal and external partners to create measures and report on data-driven recruitment strategiesEffectively utilize HRIS for building and maintaining staffing processesImprove organization attractiveness emphasizing benefits and company perks.Develop benchmarks for tracking recruiting metrics and employee retention to measure recruitment efficienciesPosition Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Marketing, Recruiting or Sales or equivalent educational experienceMinimum of two years sales, marketing or recruitment experiencePreferred :
