What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Childcare position at YWCA Princeton?
The Director of Childcare is responsible for the successful operation of The Burke Foundation Early Childhood Center at YWCA Princeton. The primary responsibilities including but not limited to the health, welfare, and safety of the children. The Director must have working knowledge of the requirements of licensed centers under the Office of Licensing for the State of New Jersey and local government health regulations, must ensure the delivery of a high quality values-based childcare program, and will lead staff to provide a program that fosters children's social, physical, spiritual, and mental growth. Additionally, the Director must maintain positive working relationships with parents, children, staff and the community, with appropriate knowledge and experience to achieve the goals of the organization and its mission of eliminating racism and empowering women. The Director must possess a well-rounded knowledge of current childcare trends and must stay informed of new developments in the field of Early Childhood Education. The Director of Childcare ensures that the organization provides quality programs that meet the needs of the community and must maintain positive working relationships with all constituents and prospects including staff and public, Board and others with appropriate knowledge and experience to achieve the goals of the organization and its mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.
Salary : $70,000 - $85,000
