What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Head Site Supervisors and Assistant Teachers for After School Program position at YWCA Princeton?
The YWCA Princeton is urgently hiring enthusiastic individuals looking for part time employment to be head site supervisors and assistant teachers in our Afterschool program in the Princeton School District.
The Assistant Teacher supports the Head Site Supervisor in all aspects of the Afterschool program, including developing and implementing planned activities, and help lead an activity or club. Head Site Supervisors and Assistant Teachers serve as active role model for the children and encourages positive group dynamics. Assistant Teachers have to implement YWCA policies including taking student attendance, active supervision, and positive reinforcement.
Head Site Supervisors and Assistant teachers participate in staff orientation, CPR training, site meetings, monthly staff meetings.
These positions are part time (average 17.5 hours a week), Monday to Friday 2:30 - 6:00pm. Additionally, during school early dismissal days employment will be 12:30 to 6pm, and during school vacations there is opportunity to work full time,
