POSITION : CHILDCARE CENTER SUBSTITUTES (ON CALL)
LOCATIONS :
- DOWNTOWN MIAMI (2 possible sites)
- NORTH DADE (2 possible sites)
When : Monday thru Friday, 8 hours per shift, on call, as needed
Rate of Pay : $16.50 per hour
Responsible for assisting teacher with implementing daily learning activities, nurturing the children and managing and maintaining the Early Head Start or Head Start classroom and its equipment and supplies, establishes and maintains supportive relationships with infants, toddlers, and parents and implementing developmentally appropriate routines and curriculum for infants and toddlers while covering any classroom assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; other duties may be assigned.
DCF 45 hrs. training certificates required ; High School diploma or GED required , Red Cross First Aid & CPR certificate; certificate of good health and completed TB test required; 15 hours in-service training annually thereafter; requires electronic fingerprinting- level 2 criminal background check, and drug test
