Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Preschool Teacher role located in Miami, FL at YWCA South Florida. The Preschool Teacher will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as lesson planning, curriculum development, early childhood education, effective communication, and creating a positive learning environment for kindergarten-aged children.
Qualifications
- Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development skills
- Strong background in Early Childhood Education
- Effective Communication skills
- Experience working with kindergarten-aged children
- Passion for and dedication to the field of education
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently
- Knowledge of child development principles
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with at least 18 credits in Early Childhood Coursework
- DCF childcare 45 hours
- VPK endorsement a plus
